Cookies Story
How did it start?
Sweet, salty, creme filled, there are several kinds of cookies, but where did they come from? The cookies came from the Stone Age, where men used to eat raw grains that were very hard to chew with their teeth. To make this easier, they had the idea to smash these grains between Stones, adding water and letting it dry on the fire. Thus, a new kind of hard breads was created, the precursor of the cookie, and easier ingestion. Made by slaves, who were the only owners of the recipe that passed on by generation to generation, the cookie became a noble product, served to friends and visitors in the Egyptian culture. It was sweetened with honey, once there was no sugar by that time.
